Genevieve is the first affiliate to form beyond Abide in Love’s founding community in Rolla, offering a local expression of Abide in Love’s commitment to accompaniment, compassion, and dignity. Rooted in Ste. Genevieve County, this affiliate walks alongside immigrants detained in the Ste. Genevieve County Jail and their families, responding with presence, care, and relationship.

Through opportunities for friendship, correspondence, and community education, Abide in Love Ste. Genevieve fosters deeper understanding of immigrant experiences and the realities of detention. When needs arise, the affiliate also offers limited financial assistance as an expression of pastoral care and solidarity. While shaped by local relationships, the group remains connected to the wider Abide in Love network through shared values, mutual support, and collective learning.
